As a teacher, I always seek to create a classroom atmosphere that is welcoming and accessible; a place that students feel comfortable coming to and where they know how to use the resources that are provided unto them. The teacher should explain the use of these resources to his/her students, and make special plans for the inclusion of students with special needs and students for whom English is a second language.
My passion for teaching others and inspiring young minds, encourages me to always go the extra mile. "Our words and actions create our own world". This motto is pivotal as it motivates me to provide positive reinforcement for all students continually. I believe that education extends far beyond the classroom walls, and involves many more people than students and teachers. People should be learning wherever they go, and should continue learning long after they’ve graduated from high school or college. Education isn’t something that can be quantified with tests or report cards, but is instead something that people carry with them. It’s a survival pack for life, and some people are better equipped in certain areas than in others. People with a solid education are prepared for nearly anything, as they will be able to provide for their own physical, emotional, and aesthetic needs. I am always willing to share my knowledge and understanding.
I love teaching! It’s a simple statement that sums up my view. It brings me great joy watching students develop and discover who they are as the year passes. It’s truly an indescribable feeling that not many people get to witness. Thank you for allowing me the privilege to teach your child this year. It is a team effort and I thank you in advance for the all the hard work and support you give; I could not do this job without you.
