      Welcome to First Grade                                                                                    
      Dear Parents and Students,                                                                                September 2018

      Welcome to First Grade! My name is Ms. Fatimah and I will be the advisory teacher for Grade 1C.  I am very excited about the year ahead. 

      Teaching is an absolute passion of mine and I’m so excited to work with your child. It's going to be a year filled with fun, learning, and adventures. In order for us to reach our full potential we need to achieve the following principles:

      Always do your BEST (“It’s okay not to know, but it is not okay not to TRY”)	Be RESPONSIBLE
      	Be RESPECTFUL to everyone

      Good Behavior in the class is essential to good student learning. 

      When misbehaving in school repetitively occurs, especially when disrupting a lesson and the learning of other students, the supervisor will be informed and the teacher and supervisor will then decide to inform the parents, principal and/or counselor.
